How about posting any data from the state that says if Ripa is allowed to even be a councilperson and a town employee at the same time? What is the big secret? Is there another person the Democrats are planning on doing a last second switch with?

The Democrats should release any letter from the State if it shows the Ripa can be a town employee and town couniclperson at the same time. I hope this delay isn't showng the same lack of action that they would if elected.

 I guess you really see her as a clear winner in the next election because if she doesn't win then it wouldn't be an issue for you at all or would you just think of another way to stop the people of Hammonton from electing a fine quality candidate like Robin Ripa.

Sam Mento is an excellent spokesperson and a true asset to the Democratic club. Maybe you should take a look at his speech which is posted on our website and you will see for yourself.
As for our ideas on running local government, that is all coming. Over the next few weeks and months you will see a lot of ideas and proposals from the Hammonton Democrats. We have already been very vocal on a number of issues and you will see a lot more from the candidates. We intend this to be a positive campaign about issues and ideas. We will point out problems when we see them, but we will also offer solutions. These candidates have hit the ground running and you will hear a lot more from them in the near future.

Who's the self proclaimed spokesperson for HF. NO one in that party held the mayor and RC accountable for their actions.

The Republicans had a lot of infighting 2 years ago which then spawned HF. Once again there is still a lot of infighting and they were forced to field 4 candidates. Even they aren't sure who's there best 3 candidates. Looks like trouble lurking in HF and the Republican Parties.

 Gee smart thinking Republicans now HF Republicans and Independents can make sure that the best of the 4 candidates doesn't get elected.  Just like in American Idol where the worst singers get  voted in as a gag, the 3 worst Republicans will win the Republican primary.  Looks like the Republicans can't work together.  The Democrats however had 7 people interested in running and there was NO infighting.  From what I can tell the Republicans were lucky even to come up with 3 and the 4th is just playing spoiler.

You're acting like it is illegal for you to use your own mind, think for yourself, and do some research.  Get off your lazy ass and find out for yourself.  And while you are digging, find out why the Historical Building is not done yet.  Find out why Hammonton First chose to go after the cheif.  Find out how much town hall will really cost.

The State website shows that you cannot have a town job and be a town councilperson also. If Ripa wins, she would have to refuse the council seat. If that happens, legally the Democrats get to pick a replacement without the people getting to vote. That desn't seem fair, but that is the way it is. Probably a good reason to vote for someone else.

THE NJ Dept of Community Affairs has the data. It is at www.state.nj.us/dca/dfs. The Democrats knew about the Federal Hatch Act that the Republicans pointed out regarding Anthony Falcone last year. But they forgot to check State Laws. Vote Republican: Maria Ricca, Mike Pajic, Mike Torrissi and Donny Berenato.

Bring morals in politics? What from the abortion loving liberal Democrats?  With their leader Hillary Clinton?  Nancy Pelosi going and meeting with terrorists?  Republicans are the only hope for our town and our country!

You obviously have never met or talked to anyone of the Democratic Candidates for Town Council and you are willing to make your decision based on that stereotype without listening and researching the ideals, morals and plans of the individual candidates.
That kind of thinking would say that we should offer our local national gaurdsmen to go to Iraq because that's what all Republicans do, agree with Bush and we want to support the war effort, no matter what the cost.
The fact remains, the Republicans do not take stands on any issues in our town and do not stand up for individuals or the town as a whole. The Democrats have stood up before council on many occassions to make their voices heard. They deserve to be on council, they have earned it.

 It was o.k. for Ronald Reagan to benefit from the advancements of stem cell research.  This is another issue in wish the Reagans were supportive of but the Republican Party under George Juniors watch doesn't.
