Robin Ripa files lawsuit - UPDATE 5/21
Permalink

It is our understanding that a number of people and organizations were served today with papers concerning a massive lawsuit filed by Robin Ripa over the false accusations concerning the July 4th celebration from two years ago. At the direction of her attorney, Cliff VanSyoc, Robin is not permitted to discuss this situation at this time.
As we are able to learn more we will put the information up here.

DEFENDENTS NAMED IN THE LAWSUIT:
Gabriel Donio
Town of Hammonton
Hammonton Gazette
Hammonton First
William Olivo
Angela Costigan, Esquire
Anthony Destasio
Jeanne Sparacino-Lewis
Rock Colasurdo
Captain Robert Jones
and John Does 1-25

Oh great ..............another lawsuit by a town employee that will cost the taxpayers of Hammonton alot of money.

I can't wait to read about this latest drama in the Town of Hammonton. Where do you find a lawyer that will waste taxpayer time and money pursuing these cases.

Will this lawyer be paid by the town?

Apparently you don't know much about this lawyer. He doesn't even take a case unless it's a winner. He doesn't waste his time or money.
GO ROBIN!!!
They'll get what they deserve.

THIS IS GREAT.  ROBIN IS REMINDING EVERYONE WHY SHE IS NOT A REPUBLICAN ANYMORE.  THE GAZETTE WILL PRINT THIS AND THE DEMS AND HF WILL KILL EACH OTHER AND THE REPS WILL SWEEP IN NOVEMBER.  GOOD JOB ROBIN, AT LEAST YOU AND THE GAZETTE CAN DO SOMETHING USEFUL!

You're right, Robin is reminding everyone why no one should be a Republican anymore!!! They won't even stand up for their own. They haven't stood up for a single issue, and they showed their true colors when they let her take all the heat and wouldn't let her speak.

The fact that the Republicans can't work together to select 3 quality candidates shows that there still lots of trouble with the Republican Party. We need to make sure HF does regain dominance again.  I'm afraid that whichever Republican that loses in the primary will just jump ship out of anger and join HF.

I don't think any of the Republicans will ever support Hammonton First, that's why they all want to run , to make sure that Hammonton first is gone forever.Remember Hammonton First has made Hammonton Last.........

Vote for Torrissi! He's backed by Jimmy Curcio, so you know it's a great choice. He will work with Hammonton First for the betterent of our town.

Torrissi will win and easily also defeat the Democrats. It will be just like last year when Curcio went to the council meeting and showed how useless Anthony Falcone was. The Republicans showed in a press release duing the campaign how Anthoy Falcone's job was just patronage.

Boy are you ass backwards! When Curcio went to the meeting he showed how little respect he had for the people of Hammonton by bringing politics into the Town Council meeting. That was not the time or the place to make the kind of statements and accusations he made.
And as for the press release the Republicans used, they forgot to mention that the gentleman who made those false accusations about patronage was then proven wrong and removed from that job. He was the one who made the situation political and then lost his job for it. Anthony is still in his job, and doing very well.

Yay for Robin. She worked very hard on bringing back a great 4th of July celebration to Hammonton and it was a wonderful event that we all enjoyed. It's unfortunate that a group of people with an agenda dragged her good name through the mud for no reason. If Mary Lucca had followed the rules, none of this would have happened. Even then Mary exaggerated and lied about what happened. Robin, you go girl. If this is what is needed to restore your good name then go for it. Those who did this to you will be exposed for what they really are.

The Democrats don't tell MacLane anything.  He isn't the brightest bulb so why would they bother?  He knows nothing.

If Ms. Ripa filed her complaint in court, then that document is likely available for the asking.

Once they have been filed with the court, complaints are usually available to the public and may be obtained from the court in which they were filed.  Some courts even make documents available online.

Step 1 is to determine the name and location of the court in which she filed her complaint.  Step 2 is to call the clerk of that court and ask if complaints are publicly available.   Step 3 might be to go to the court and make a copy.

If MacLane really has the information, why not just post it? Why is Robin Ripa suing a police officer (Captain Bobby Jones)? Why is Robin Ripa suing Republican Solictor Angela Costigan?

It will be posted tomorrow, It takes a while to scan all of the pages. Hopefully I will get it converted digitally by tomorrow to post it.

I don't think is right for a council candidate to be suing police and asking to pocket taxpayer's money. I think this is terrible. Is what Ripa is doing ethical?

The Democrats talk about speaking out for us. I demand that Falcone and Amirato speak out and say if they support Council Candidate Robin Ripa getting paid with taxpayers' dollars or if they are against that. They need to say if it is okay for Robin Ripa to sue police.

Anthony and Mike have not seen the lawsuit yet. They will not rush to judgement as you have. Once the suit is reviewed maybe we will all understand a little bit more about the situation. The suit will be posted as soon as it can be scanned and converted digitally to be put up on this website. Hopefully later this morning. All should wait to see what this is all about before rushing to any kind of judgement, this is America after all. The defendents are innocent till proven guilty and Ms. Ripa has her right to full protection under the law. Remember, this suit was started right after the event in 2005, long before there was any thought to running for council. Yet, she still loves this town enough that she wants to continue to serve.

Now that Anthony Falcone and Mike Amirrato have seen the document, shouldn( they let the public know if they believe this lawsuit should have been filed citing probems Ripa has had with fellow police dept employees?

I gave them the document late last night at the Lion's club installation dinner. I'm sure they will be reviewing it today. But preliminarily, we all agree that Ms. Ripa does not give up her rights to full protection under the law just because she is a candidate.

Anthony Falcone should answer the question hinsellf... does he think it is right for a town council candidate to sue a Police Captain?

Support our Captain! Support the police department!

This is a vendetta against our police department.  Support the fine men in blue and support our Captain!

THE POLICE DEPT IS NOT BEING SUED!!! Only Capt Jones is mentioned. If you have questions, why not ask him. Robin has spelled out her side in 15 pages. Read the document and see where you think the vendetta is? Support the employee rights, support honesty in government, support those who are willing to stand up against wrongdoing.

Of course the Town of Hammonton's Police Departmentis being sued. That is how the lawyer is looking t get his hands on taxpayer's dollars. And the Captain is also being sued.

SUPPORT OUR TAXPAYERS! SUPPORT OUR CAPTAIN!

Unfortunately in America the only way to combat things like what has happened to Ripa is to bring a suit. Does anyone really think things like this should go on in our town? Should the officials of our town be allowed to behave like this? Thankfully, the town has insurance for things like this so it won't cost the taxpayers anything.

Boy that is a stupid statement. We have to pay for our lawyer and we also have to pay higher insurance premiums. Of course, the Democrats love to sue so they want to pretend that isn't the case.

The Democrats are not part of this case. The only suit the Dems have put forth was last year. One suit certainly doesn't indicate that we love to sue.

You should write for the HG.  They like fabrication, distortion and ommission of facts.  Why is o.k. for HF to have vendettas but it's no o.k. for people to fight back against them?  RC and the mayor were unsuccessful in their vendetta against the chief, looks like they had their sights on others as well.

Now that there has been more than enough time to read the document, do the Democratic candidates have anything to say in their own words or are they not allowed to speak?

Many people have read the "massive lawsuit comments. This did not happen. You are having a bad dream. Do not ask questions in Party meetings. Again, this did not happen. It is all an illusion. Remember you are not allowed to think this happened.

You can go back to whatever you were doing now. Thank you.
