In a surprise development, Fire Chief Frank Domenico asked not to be nominated as Chief of the Hammonton Fire Department for the upcoming year. As nominations were opened Michael Ruberton, the present Asst. Fire Chief, was nominated to the position of Fire Chief and Michael Pullia, the present Captain of Fire Co. #1 was nominated as Asst. Fire Chief. There were no other nominations and both Michaels were elected to their new positions. The Town thanks Frank Domenico for his many years of service as Chief of the Hammonton Fire Department and look forward to his continued service in the Department. We wish Michael and Michael success in their new positions and look forward to the official induction at the January 1st reorganization meeting for the Town.
