Democrats,
You are doing a good job.  Hammonton First has not even put this info on their website!

Who is this Gibbons guy? Does he even live in Hammonton or is HF outsourcing their candidates now?

Say no to Jerry Vitalo in todays' primary, he is the worst council person this town has ever seen. Free health benefits, dirty underwear, just plain dumb stuff. Write in someone elses name....they got to be better than him.

SAY NO TO VITALO....do the entire town a favor...

Vitalo is the joke of my life.....

Jerry "everyday should be veterans day even thought I never served" Vitalo.

I threw up in my mouth when he told the Hicks' kid's father "semper fi"  Hey Jerry this guy's kid died in combat... you never served.  Are you that stupid.

Yes, Virginia there is a retarded councilman in Hammonton.

Seriously, for the person that mande the comment about the underwear.  It is okay to harsh but not crude.  (Unless you actually did an inspection).

Admin,
Please take that guy's comment down.  It undermines the discussion.

Its' great to see that even the most loyal Republicans think that Jerry" I get free health benefits" Vitalo was dead last in the primary yesterday. This proves a very well known fact that Vitalo will not even be supported by Republicans. His actions on council have be poor a best. If he was smart, no joke here, he would step aside and let someone else run, they would have a real chance at winning. jerry some of us have been following politics for many years, you my boy should see the hand writing on the wall. Your a LOSER. Jerry you will finish with the least amount of votes on election night in November. Fact is if you can hold onto the 232 primary votes you"ll be lucky, but our guess is you will even lose some of them.

Ok seriously.

Can someone tell Vitalo to drop out.  Every GOP person I talk to can't say enough bad things about the guy. If his own party wont support him why should I?

And another thing... can we explain to Jerry and Anthony that hte ONLY reason tehy won, is because Hammonton First picked a fight with the police chief.  Seriously, you guys think the people actually think you are compitent ?

Should'a voted Democrat in 2006 and 2007. This time we definitely need to vote Democrat in 2008.  It's ashame some of the Dems didn't get in the last 2 years.  We need at least two Dems so that one can make a motion and the other can second it.   The Reps have really let us down these last 2 years.

I don't know about you but I am very happy to Anthony Marino, Jerry Vitalo and Jim Bertino keeping a very close eye on Hammonton First. Most people in Hammonton I know are very skeptical of giving Hammonton First anymore power because of the reckless power grabs and bullying in the past.

I will probably stick with the GOP in the fall, maybe a democrat, but definitely not Hammonton First. They scare me a little.

The Democrats are speaking out. Jimmy Bertino pocketed taxpayer's dollars with the health insurance buyout. Now he wants to get elected again so he can collect a pension and life time health benefits! A pension for having a part time job! How much of the taxpayer's dollars does Bertino want?

Many people are skeptical about Hammonton First and seen how ineffective at times the Reps have been on Council dealing with Hammonton First.  If there were at least 2 Dems on Council the last several years, they would have not remained silent or delayed action.  The lake cleanup would have been done years ago.  The gypsy moth decision wouldn't have been delayed.  Chiefgate would have been stopped before it got to the courts and the public would be made more aware of the costs of the town hall project.  By remaining quiet, Bertino, Marino and Vitalo are stating that everything Hammonton First campaign on was true that they could get the Community Center, remove the old town hall, demolish the town hall and build a new one all for 5.9M.

Vitalo and Marino had their chance.  We can't afford to give them another chance.  Bertino, well too many Reps like him no matter how much Deputy Mayor Ed makes a fool of him.  It's gotta be All 3 Dems or you might as well vote for all 3 Firsters because the 3 Reps sit on their hands too much and only speak up after it's too late.

This town council is awful. I say for the next two elections vote for neither incumbents.  If you're against Hammonton First vote Democrat.  If you're against Republicans vote Democrat.  A vote for Hammonton First is a vote for Republicans.  A vote for Republicans is for Hammonton First because in reality they are one in the same.

I think you are judging Jim Bertino, Anthony Marino & Jerry Vitalo with your blue Democratic eyeglasses.....You must be swept up in Barrack Obama & Frank Lautenburg fever.

You have to admit that the new downtown area is going to look impressive and be a great asset to the town of Hammonton. The entire council did a good job keeping the project downtown and at a reasonable cost. The republicans have spoken up when the mayor and Hammonton First has gone overboard. Jim Bertino's experience along with Jerry Vitalo and Anthony Marino have been a valuable counterbalance to Hammonton First.

Besides what is wrong with having a few blue collar working men instead of all high brow white collar types represent the town of Hammonton. I like Jerry Vitalo, Jim Bertino & and Anthony Marino representing the working class people in Hammonton.

It is disgusting to see Jimmy Bertino wanting to take a lifetime pension with hearlth benefits for a part time job.  This bum has to go.  Go Democrats!

Bertino has to go. First he pocketed all that money in health buyouts.  Then he had a cell phone charged to the taxpayers.  Now he wants to get a pension for a part time job.  Enough is enough.  It is time for a change for the future!

you are being pretty petty with small items/

Jim Bertino has also kept taxes low for 15 years/

is a great watchdog of local taxes/

helped with reasonably priced townhall/

helped make sure 2.5 million from SJ gas for town property is being well spent/

I am very happy with Mr. Bertino, Mr. Wuillerman, Mr. Vitalo, etc.

Now the Republicans are attacking Anthony Falcone on their blog saying he did an "Ol' Voter Shuffle" in replacing Russ on the ticket.  The Republicans say they have family values but here they show they do not.  All Jimmy Bertino wants to do is line his pockets with taxpayer dollars by taking a full pension and health benefits for a part time job!

What a shameful display of partisanship here.  I can't believe the official Democrat club of Hammonton would allow fellow Hammontonians to be spit on like what's going on here.  Such hate for three people(Republicans) who have stood up for Democrats, Republicans, and Hammonton Firsters when they deserved it.

You should be ashamed of the commentary here.

Jimmy Bertino is pushing for more low cost housing to be built over near the brewery.  I guess he needs to take care of his campaign manager.  Bertino voted for Plymouth Place and now he wants to bring in another complex like that to make our taxes go even higher.  It is time for a change.  The Democrats are talking about the Promise for the Future.

Visit the Republican forum and post the same comment there because the same is being posted there.  Hammonton First on the other hand doesn't have a forum because they don't want their followers to hear other points of view.  Firsters though are the ones who like to copy and posts on both forums and like to stir false accusations and bring up trivial issues like Bertino's pension.

Dude, it's obvious that you're the one posting the negative comments about Republicans.  Spread your comments out at different times.
