Mayor-elect Steve DiDonato is putting together his team
Permalink

Steve DiDonato has hit the ground running and is very busy putting together his plans for his vision of Hammonton. He is reaching out in many directions for advice and information that will aid him in continuing Hammonton in its growth and goals.
He has many appointments to make to the Hammonton commissions and boards and those selections will also be important in setting the path that Hammonton will take. Steve has an awsome responsibility in these appointments. He must select the most qualified individual to fill these positions so that the right decisions and recommendations can be made to Mayor & Coucil for the betterment of Hammonton. Let us hope that these appointments are made with all of Hammonton in mind and are not made as a payback for political favors. There are many qualified individuals in different areas in all three of Hammonton's political parties and all three should be represented in Hammonton's government.
This is an opportunity for outreach to the community for more to become involved in our town government. A list should be developed of all open positions to be filled on January 1st. This would give interested individuals an opportunity to submit their names and qualifications to the Mayor-elect for consideration in his appointments.

It's amazing that now that the election is over it was announced that Atlantic Care bought more property on the WHP and now phase 2 of the destruction of the Lake Park is moving forward more trees cut, retention pond etc. I'm wondering if Steve will be laying off more employees or will he hire more since the town is in great financial shape and he plans on building more and more. What else will they be doing to benefit themselves? How much will the taxpayers have to sacrifice? Will anything benefit us? Is it true that a letter was sent out by the town that now the homeowners are responsible not only for the trees by the curb but also the pipes? Is there anything that the town is responsible for? Now even the Governor elect Christie is saying he is going to have to raise taxes. WOW what sneaks

Where can I volunteer to help on these committees? The town looks great and I would like to volunteer for the new art committtee.

You must be a HF person who is making money from the town. Only HF cronies are allowed to be on a committee because you will agree with everything they say. Since they took office no one in town is allowed to have an opinion that differs from theirs! Maybe you should volunteer for the revitalization committee for down town that way HF will throw you a bone. HA HA Oh are you blind or just being funny?

Yeah Steve lots of luck to you. Your brother put this town 45 million dollars in debt and counting. Oh and are you going to raise taxes so that you can bring Stockton College to Hammonton for your boss so that his downtown properties will benefit from this multi million dollar project that the taxpayers have to pay for?

Steve I think you should give Brian Howell another 10 thousand dollar raise because after all when it all falls apart Brian will be the one that gets disbarred.

HF can just sit back and say to any investigators that they didn't know that they did anything illegal. They'll just blame the solicitors and all the bean counters.

Don't forget the millions of dollars being funneled into the DiDonato bank that is going up. Where was all this cash when the hospital needed funding? Apparently this bank has been raising moneyf or some time now. Hammonton people are so gullible and easily conned.  It's all good!

Look at all the money HF is saving on their properties from not raising taxes. All the taxpayer funded renovations to their down town properties and don't forget the million dollars to run water and sewer to the bowling alley and their businesses and their boses property on Egg Harbor Road. That's why they fixed the election so they can stay in office and keep making millions while the taxpayers are struggling. It's nice to be a politician in Hammonton! It's a high paying, best benefits job that you can't get any where else. Don't be to quick to accuse the people for being so gullible they probably didn't vote for HF but it the polls were fixed that's not the voters fault.

I heard Steve will be laying off 4 more town employees and cutting services. He was praised for the schools financial success yet he can't do the same for the town? WHY?
