Downtown looks great. The new steakhouse restaurant will be a great addition to the downtown. The new restaurant needs a liquor license to go with the sports pub theme.

I thought downtown was suppose to be for shopping not eating. With so many over weight people why do our elected officials insist we keep eating? They claim to be energy efficient with there "go green" statements and then they say they spent all that money to renovate downtown so we can all shop downtown not eat! They should support healthy living since that is the only thing we can afford. Oh and what about bringing good paying jobs to Hammonton? We don't need another bank or minimum wage paying jobs!

Does anyone know why the Camber of Commerce is having their dinner at Tomasello's Winery and not the wine bar DOWNTOWN? Will they be punished for not patronizing the businesses downtown?

Everytime a new business comes downtown. 3 downtown businesses shut down.  Doesn't seem like It's All Good!

So true, so true!  In some cases the businesses were "pushed" away for attracting the so called - wrong element.

Holy Toledo!  Are they going to have to move the mayor's office to the first floor of Town Hall?  Is there some sort of warranty on those elevators?

Great, more drunks milling about downtown. Just what we need a sports bar. Didn't we get rid of the drunks downtown and now we want them back?
All done with federal dollars (WELFARE) because the owners of the buildings are getting stimulus money from the government. Thank you Democrats because this did not go on with the Republican presidency.

Did you read about the millions raised so far? Hope you all got your money back from the Kessler fundraising 2 years ago. Where were all those millions then?

What makes you think that any stimulus money is used for these projects? Stimulus money isn't even making it down to county or municipal levels for roads or infrastructure repairs, but you think it has gone down to private investors to build restaurants? What a stretch, just to continue your bashing of a political party.

The problem in Hammonton right now is the divide that has been created by the Hammonton First party. Instead of being the unification force they intended, by their attitude and refusal to listen to the middle class and lower class people of Hammonton, they have divided this town.

Something needs to change! We need to bring this town back together! The Firsters need to stop bashing everyone on these blogs and so do the rest of the people trying to fight back. We need to find a positive course for Hammonton. We need to stop raising our debt, but continue the growth and positive aspects that Hammonton First has brought to our town.

Question: is Steve going to layoff more town employees and cut services since the town is in great financial shape? The council meetings keep getting shorter and shorter what are they hiding from us?

I heard he will be laying off 4 more town employees and cutting services. He was praised for the schools financial success yet he can't do the same for the town? WHY?
