I have to admit that Mayor Steve has done a better job than his brother. The streets look good. I guess he realizes that as long as you have town employees who are treated fairly and allow them to do the job in which they were hired for, everyone ends up safe and happy. I just hope Steve doesn't let the D brothers tell him what to do and if he can keep them out of the loop then our town will get better and better. Come on Steve show us that you can be nice, fair and respect the people who put you in office. Remember the nicer you are the more people will like you!!!!

I can't believe our town hall is closed. Former mayor John DiDonato said he could never close town hall offices because it would jeopardize the safety of the taxpayers. I hope he realizes now what an jackass he was. I guess Steve doesn't care. Some stores are open and some are closed.

In my short drive through town this morning, it looks like our highway department and the contractors who are working for our town have done a very good job in getting our streets open again. I'm sure there are some streets they haven't gotten to yet, but what I saw all looked good in such a short time from when the snow stopped. What a difference from the December 19 snow storm. Does this mean that the Mayor remembers there is more to Hammonton than just 3 blocks "downtown"? His brother never did. Hopefully signs of good things to come.

Still not sure if Steve will do a better job. I keep hearing mixed reviews. I keep hearing more layoffs, more cuts but yet Stockton is coming to Hammonton at our expense. However, he did do a better job with the snow then his brother.
Now, if Steve would stop all this borrowing, kill the Stockton project, he could leave the shadow of his brother and the HF party boss and serve the people of Hammonton.

We are seeing some encouraging things. The rumor was already out there that the Mayor and 1 of the new council members have made the statement that the old puppet master is not going to tell them what to do.
Now we need to find out why they are so intent on running up more debt to finance Stockton to come into our town and make money from the tuitions they would chaarge. The college would be making the profits, the college should make the investments. The taxpayers shouldn't be adding to the profitability of Stockton out of their pockets.
We already have a huge debt, and those bills will start coming due soon. We need to start putting money away for future projects instead of doing projects and paying for them later with interest. As a town we have learned nothing from the examples of the state and federal govt. We will be paying so much in interest soon that we will have nothing left in the budget todo anything else.

I don't believe that Steve or the rest of them will ever leave the clutches of the washed up puppet master. The mayor appointed him to be the downtown advocate and also in charge of all the grand money for the town which is scary! Plus he knows to much to cut him loose. Not sure what Steve will do because he isn't saying either. The only thing he ever talked about was no new taxes and Stockton but what about the taxpayers? What is he going to do for us. I hear he is more arrogant than his brother. People have to realize that HF has no political experience. They are running the town like a business which will only create a huge mess!
At the next council meeting I would like to hear what his plan is for the next 4 years. He needs to set goals and try to reach them. I think they have a lot of work to do to restore our town from the doom and gloom it has suffered over the past 4 years. I want to hear good news of what they are going to do. I don't want to hear about the projects that will only benefit them. The morale is this town is at it's all time low. Let's see if he has what it takes to turn that around. Remember arrogance breeds stupidity.
The town did a terrific job clearing the roads. Practice does make it easier and town employees in the highway dept. did a great job.
Now lets hope the snow is done for this winter season.
Wishful thinking. Another storm is brewing for Monday but they don't think it will bring another foot of snow. I hope not. I'm getting tired on shoveling even though it is good exercise.
The snow really allowed the cream to rise to the top.Highway Dept. has done a great job.As far as tax increase I thought they were laying off some cops ? Maybe we are just a little top HEAVY in some dept. Isn't that what happened at Kessler until it was too late than there was just no saving them ?

Greed by the people in charge brought Kessler down! Not vendetta's.

It seems as though the town is being run the same way Kessler was being run. The next few years should be very interesting.
That is exactly what I meant , I do not know where the words greed and vendetta's came in, but you will see the top heaviness of payroll at town hall and the no tax increase promise may bring us down in the future. For a small town we have some pretty HEAVY payrolls. I just do not want to SHOT ourselves in the foot.
