Ah, our deputy mayor spoke so philosophically last night....he compare the state cuts to be a curveball that the Town Council missed.

I guess Sam and his pals must have not been listening since the election when the Governor kept saying and saying and saying that local governments will share in the pain.  Maybe if they had been listening, they would not have continued with the Lake Project, hired a lobbyist, continued with stockton, kept the solicitor's salary the same, hired a consultant for the small cities program.

Obviously, when Sam was on council last year, he never thought this day would ever come.  Otherwise, he would not have voted for $1 million dollars in sewer extension to Boyer Avenue Fields, or the Canoe Club and the Lake Renovations.

Yes, yes.  That must be it.  Well, as our deputy Mayor goes for re-election he might also remember that missing curveball can make you strike out.

Say No to Rodio in 2010

How could Sam hear anything?  His ears are connected to his head, and that is usually up his butt. . or the Mayor's.

You're all wrong Steve, Rodio and Pullia all have their heads up the washed up puppet masters butt. I wonder what this washed up puppet master can do for them now since he is out of money...... I guess we will have to wait and see come November!

Sam Rodio is a joke.  He would still be stocking shelves if he didn't marry into a wealthy family.  I find it interesing that he wants to lay off town employees But, now the school notified his wife she could lose here secretary job with FULL Health care benifits he is upset.  Well big boy time to pay for your own health care and stop sucking off the tax payers.  Don't worry Rodio Pres Obama made it  illegal for health provider to holdso your obesity against you.

Welcome to the real world and spens some of your wife's family's money and pay for your own health care big shot.  It was funny when you did it to Vitale now the shoe is on the other foot so wear it!

Sam did you see the ball this time.  What a joke.  You never wore a jock strap in your life.

No offense, but if his wife has family money, she can afford to lose her job. I have no sympathy if they have a family farm that rakes in millions, and that would be a lot of those working in the school system. It really is a disgrace to see some of the names and know that alot of them ARE NOT teachers. They are secretaries, aides or that vague "Special Ed"

Hey , did that Mickey pay his taxes yet or is he still getting a free ride?
Sam its all good so long as it don't affect you. The guy has the IQ of a flea and Steve picks him as deputy Mayor? We all need to say NO to Rodio in 2010. Free benefits not bad Sam, the sad part they should leave your wife alone, shes the only nice thing about you.

When Sam loses this year what is his reaction going to be?

I don't think he can count on support from HF's biggest contributors anymore.

Sam is just what HF wants on their ticket. He just sits there and does whatever they tell him to do. He hasn't a clue. I'm glad his wife is getting laid off and if his kids have a job I want to see them lose it. I just wish Councilman Barberio would lose his county job and Councilwomen Lewis would lost her job with Stockton. Think about it if they are cutting school budgets why not colleges too? Colleges waste more money than public schools - I hope they are next for the big cuts. It would also be nice if the rest of the Council people lost their businesses that would make me happy! It's been goin around long enough now it needs to come around! LOL

Why do you think he is in the fire dept? So he can get a tax reduction but still can't pay his taxes. You see there is always a motive when the rich volunteer it's called I only do it if I can profit from it! I'm sure behind closed doors the Mayor will give Mickey a tax credit and somehow Sam Rodio will get heath care benefits if his wife gets laid off. Better yet maybe this Mayor will do a fundraiser to help these struggling council people that way they won't have to claim the money on their income tax! HA This year's HF campaign slogan should be Bend over and vote HF over and over!

REALLY ???  Where is the tax reduction? I'm a volunteer firefighter in Hammonton and I don't see any reduction in my taxes !!  I volunteer to serve the town that I was born & raised in !  If you really cared about Hammonton, step on up to the plate & volunteer !!  Come on big guy, put up or shut up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And by the way, your arrogance & ignorance only proves to me why YOU can't get elected in Hammonton.

I wonder if a good cost-saving measure would be eliminating the construction coding office and  joining it with another town.  With the slow-down, there is little need for all those people in that department anymore.  Makes more sense than cutting cops.

I always hear people complain about the code enforcement office. They say when they call and complain about something nothing is ever done. It just gets ignored. I guess that's our hard earned tax dollars hard at work.

Relax bud! HF said that the volunteer firefighters get a tax reduction. I guess just another lie. I respect anyone who volunteers and the town should do something for you because you dedicate a lot of your time to this town and the people in it. Like you I have done plenty for this town and he seems that only the rich have a motive for volunteering. I wouldn't run for council in this town if they paid me a million dollars it's too f'ed up! Curious to know why then is Mickey involved with the fire dept. what's his motive since they wouldn't vote for him as Fire Chief?

Mr. Pullia has been a fireman since he was a teenager; he has NO MOTIVE other then to give back to the town !!

Absolutely, the town gives him plenty with that insurance contract to his company, no paying of his taxes and his Council salary.

He would not demand anything from the fire department...that would seem greedy.

What's the motive to not pay your taxes but take our tax money as our councilman.  Shouldn't there be some requirement that you not be delinquent in your taxes or are behind in other debts to be a councilman.
