The latest rumblings going around town is that Town Council is pushing the Hawks and the Little League out of Hammonton Lake Park. Is this a move to force the use of the middle school properties in an attempt to justify their spending $1.5 million to purchase land the taxpayers already own?
I heard that the parents want to move because of parking problems at the lake and they feel the Hawks have outgrown the fields there. The coaches don't want to move.
