I really enjoyed the press conference the Mayor and the Chief had on TV this evening. The new uniforms are great. I think we all need to support the Chief's call that we have to police and enforce the landlord ordinances as a matter of public safety.

I am tired of hearing about rich homeowners complain about taxes. People who are out renting don't have your big bucks. When I lived in Philadelphia, they had a lot more services than Hammonton. To get more services we need Democrats to get into office. Democrats won't constantly pinch pennies. They will raise taxes to get more servies for us! I won't get fooled again!

Democrats will make sure we get the service we are paying for. It is up to a combined council to raise taxes. From what I can recall this town has always been predominantly Republican. They keep saying Democrats are losers when in reality the losers have been the Taxpayers of Hammonton.

Does anyone know how much extra we can pay appointed lawyers next year if Hammonton First wins again? They paid Brian Howell an extra 10 g's more than he asked for! I hope they appoint me so I can make an extra 10 thousand next year.

Vote Hammonton First! For the lawyers, not the politics!

Also, I just want to add that another Dollar Store in Hammonton will be great! Thanks Mayor!

It's nice to see that that the Mayor's leadership regarding the airport is being seen by everyone. This had been somethng he started working on last year and was publicized in "Chat with the Mayor." As everyone said tonight, the airport is a wonderful asset to our community.

I liked the presentation with the the Chief and Mayor. Also, in the council meeting, the Chief explained he wants to report directly to the mayor. He explained this helps imporve his department's work.

The Democrats have to drop thie personal vendetta against Captain Jones and the Chief. What they are doing is WRONG. As many police officers ave said, it is crazy.

Channel 40 News and also the radio reported this morning that the Mayor hired two more police officers, purchased a new polce dog and is getting several new vehicles. The Chief said on TV this helps improve public safety. He also explained the landlord ordinance must be enforced to help stop problems like the massive fight in town last week. I am hearing the Police are going to really crack down on illegal problems. They call it "Operation Slumlord." I like all the positive action.

Things are looking much better for the Hammonton Police Dept. All of the support from the community has paid off. We commend the Mayor for putting aside previous differences and working together with the Chief to move over Department forward and make Hammonton a better place to live.

Most of those in the fight didn't even live in Hammonton. They're transient. They were there to shop and support our downtown revitalization by shopping on Bellevue.

I like the fact that the Chief made the point that he'll wear the uniform when he feels it is necessary for the occassion. That was his whole point when the mayor and Chief charged him of insubordination.

I wish we had more young people like Torrissi taking an interest. he may have just started attending meetings this year, but atleast he was there and so were Pajic and Berenato. why must people be so negative about someone trying to help and make a difference?

They are worried that if those two get elected they won't give unsolicited pay raises to HF cronies. Kind of like how Brian Howell got a $10,000 raise that he didn't request.
