Democratic "Wine and Cheese" Reception Features Guest Speaker
Permalink

Hammonton- The Hammonton Democratic Club has released the following statement:

For Hammonton to fulfill the Promise of the Future, we must restore open government to the town, exercise fiscal responsibility and practice consistent management principles.  Russ Rodjinske, Michael Perrotta and Jim MacLane are the candidates to lead these efforts on Town Council.  Yet we can only realize full success when our efforts are coordinated with all levels of government.

This is the reason why the Hammonton Democratic Club is pleased to announce the guest speaker for our Wine and Cheese Reception.  Michael Maitland, South Jersey Coordinator for U.S Senator Frank Lautenberg, will discuss Senator Lautenbergs accomplishments on behalf of the people of New Jersey.  The public is invited (free of charge) to share their ideas with the Democratic Council Candidates and hear how Senator Lautenberg will continue to serve Hammonton.

The Wine and Cheese Reception will be held at 7 pm on May 7th at the Womens Civics Club (Corner of Liberty and Broadway).

Yes, we have contacted both Andrews and Lautenberg but Andrews, although he supports the Hammonton Democratic Club, was unavailable for this event. I am sure we will see him at another event in the near future.

Hammonton will vote for Andrews in the primary. I wouldn't let Lautenburg in Hammonton at all since he has never set foot in Hammonton during his 25 years in office. He is 12 years older than John McCain.
