Congratulations to Karen Casselman of Hammonton. NJ Commissioner of Education Lucille Davy announced the 21 County teacher's of the year. Ms. Casselman teaches 7th grade math at the Northfield Middle School. She will now be considered along with the other county teachers for NJ State Teacher of the Year which will be announced in October. Congratulations to another Hammontonian and her success in her career.
Good for her. Out of thousands, one of our very own residents gets recognized as the best in the county. Now that's worthy of front page coverage but you'll never see that on the HG.
Being a former teacher, I know that being selected as the Best in the County means you're the best of the best among thousands. It's really sad that this didn't get much more press in Hammonton. I don't know who this person is but Kudos to you.
