Hammonton may have replace its name from Blueberry Capital of the World to Conflict of Interest Capital of the World.
Now, the appearance of conflict of interest is seeping into planning board proceedings. Recently, the planning board voted on the completion of a project involving Dunkin Donuts. The project impacted the Hammonton Swim Club.
It seems that the planning board chairman do not recuse himself from the vote even though his son-in-law is on the Swim Club Board. It would also be interesting to see who sells the Swim Club their insurance and check against planning board members.
Let's not forget that our Mayor is real estate developer and sits on the planning board.
It seems that our govenrment just invites litigation against the Town by how they act.
Laws don't apply to Hammonton First only the common folk. From what I hear if you support HF you get all kinds of extra services that save you money while the rest of us get our services cut. Not sure if this is true but I heard that the town used to use 2 insurance companies now they are only using one the one in which a councilman owns. This is why HF needs to stay in office because they and their supporters are becoming richer and richer at the cost of the taxpayers stupidity and tax dollars!

Isn't it a conflict of interest for councilwomen Lewis to be promoting her employer Stockton College during a council meeting and on the taxpayers dime. Isn't this solicitation on town property. If Stockton can afford to offer free classes to senior citizens why not pay for their building in Hammonton? Why not offer discounts to the struggling students who are attending college? Why are they holding these classes at the library and not the Canoe Club? WTF is going on?
It seems as though there are many conflicts of interest with our current council members. When the clerk needs approval to pay bills several council members had to recues themselves from voting. WOW how much business is the town giving to the people who control who gets what business from the town. They shouldn't be sitting up there for profit.

Someone should report her and all these cronies to the state or better yet our crime fighting Governor. This is a major conflict for all of them! Why doesn't the airport need to be expanded how many Hammonton people use this airport? It serves no purpose other than to keeping putting money into a lost cause, just like Boyer Ave they are both money pits that's making someone rich.
