On Wednesday 9/20 the Environmental Protection Agency and the NJ Department of Health came to Hammonton to begin an investigstion into the improper removal of asbestos at the Historic Town Hall site. The moving of the building set for Friday 9/22 will now have to be delayed. Click here for the story.

Another Public Safety issue, what is HF thinking?  Don't they care about the town employees.  As soon I saw on t.v. when they talked about Asbestos and that Cody girl make light of the dangers, I figured it was another HF coverup on a big mistake.  This Big Dig is getting us taxpayers into a bigger hole.  I can't wait til election day November 2006 and 2007 when HF council member are finally out of office.  All that will be left is Mayor D with no one to help him.

I've seen you Tom, Ralph and Jose at various town functions and at town hall meetings.  You guys have really been very visible out there.   I knew the 3 of you would soon be saying something about the various issues affecting our town.  Let me reiterate.  Hammonton has issues.  These issues need to be addressed.  I see the Democratic party as the people who will be able to take on HF and get town council moving ahead - in the right direction.  You care about the below 6 7 7 figure taxpayers.   You've addressed my top issues I think are affecting Hammonton: Taxes and Public Safety. This asbestos thing wouldn't have been an issue of Town Hall would have just hired "REAL" professionals to do it.  I can't believe they used town employees to work on this project and endangered their safety as well as the public's health.  All they can say is that those who oppose them.  I don't oppose people- I oppose stupidity and total disregard to doing what is right.  You guys are alright in my book.  The right thing for Hammonton is to vote your column in November.

This is another embarassment to the Town of Hammonton.  The mayor flip flopping on what is going on and the "Police Commissioner" making stupid statements.  People I work with wonder, what the heck is going on in Hammonton the last several months.  Many out of towners are become aware how Hammonton First is destroying the character and morale of Hammonton and it's municipal employees.  Asbestos is something that shouldn't be taken lightly.  Why did they try to cover this up. The public would have to understand that more money would be needed.  HF should have done the right thing and ADMIT THAT THEY WERE WRONG and that the Democrats were right all along.

I must say how very happy I am to open the Hammonton News today and see the result of Councilman Colasurdo's stupid KKK statement.   We now get to have the KKK trying to rally in our Town.   Just what I want my kids to see.   Way to Go!   Anything else you want to do to ruin the Town?
