What went on in the Republican meeting last night? The Republican blog (http://www.myhammonton.com/blog) seems to be eliminating all mention of the meeting. The Republicans did not advertize the meeting at all on the blog.
What went on? Why was any notice the meeting was occuring kept off the blog? Why were so many posts deleted refering to the meeting?
Are the newly elected Republicans going to honor the below or did they make their own plans last night?
The Hammonton Democrats challenge both the Republicans and Hammonton 1st to involve all 3 parties in Hammonton in the government process. On January 1st there will be many committee and board assignments made by Mayor and council. Let's end the trend of nepotism and cronyism and support equal representation in Hammonton Government
It leaves readers with an incorrect impression when the Republican Campaign Manager, Vincenzo Penza, runs the myHammonton.com blog and then censors it whenever he doesn't like the posts.
This blog is much better as there is no censorship so everyone can speak their minds without fear of Republican censorship and revenge.
Yeah, I agree I'm tired of being promised the world by the local Republicans BEFORE the election and then left with nothing once they win. Every year it's the same thing. We did all the hard work last year and filed fake charges against HF. Now this year we agreed to run 3 fake candidates in name only. Both years we were promised a return for agreeing to join forces with the local republicans and where did it get us. This year we need to actually try to win. I mean c'mon Anthony Falcone runs on the Dems ticket, but he's really a Republican. We need real local Democrats to step up and get backing, then we will win. I'm tired of this Penza kid and his "blog". He censoring everything I say about his beloved Republicans, but everyone is allowed to bach the Democrats all the time. It's sick and I can't believe Jim Maclane forced us to swallow this crap all year long. Enough is enough!
Something happened at that meeting that the Republican Inner Circle doesn't want people to know. Anytime it is brought up on the Republican blog run by Vincenzo Penza, he deletes the comment.
Was something illegal or unethical discussed? Does it jave soemthing to do with Jimmy Bertino taking town contracts for the company he owns? This is something the public has a right to know.
Republican Councilperson Jimmy Bertino has again caused problems in the municipal government. When Democratic Mayor Barbara Berenato was in office, Bertino called her a quote "f***ing idiot" right in a council meeting. This was done over the microphone and broadcast into the homes of Hammonton citizens. Tapes of the meeting are still available at Town Hall.
Now Bertino has caused trash collections to fall behind with his waste of a half million dollars of the taxpayers hard earned money with his boondoggle automated trash system.
Enough is enough. It is time for Bertino to do the right thing and resign. Under the law, the Republican Party will be able to pick a replacement for him. Hopefully they will pick a new council person who will serve the town well.
The Republican Party is falling apart and spliting up again due to political infighting.
The Hammontonian web page (http://www.hammontonian.com/) has an article that some Republicans are nervous some of their newly elected people are going to leave their party. We need to recruit them to be Democrats to get seats on Council! We need to be talking to them NOW.
Notice that again, while the Democrats and Hammonton First are promoting their monthly meetings, the Republicans are not. They are having more secret meetings. There is a bog problem internally. Jimmy Bertino & his campaign manager, Vincenzo Penza have disagreed on continuing the Republican's blog, which features highly negative campaigning by the Republicans.
I heard that the Dems are going to run a week ticket again this year. Just like last year they will throw their candidiates under the bus for the benefit of the Republicans. It looks like all guys that just lost this year, Diaz, Falcone, and one of the other losers.
